HHS has finalized the anti-discriminiation rule, which is a result of provisions in the ACA. They are estimating implementation programs, such as the one I described above, to cost $960 million in training and administrative costs over the first few years of its implementation. Our health care system needs to provide care for all of us, not just most of us. It's going to be a bumpy ride, but we're headed in the right direction.
